The Deutsches Städte-Network (DSN) is composed of the two radio stations RADIO 21, based in Garbsen, and Rockland Radio, based in Mainz. Altogether, the DSN reaches 1.9 million listeners a day (*ma 2017 Radio I). The programme is broadcast in Lower Saxony, Bremen, the Rhineland-Palatinate and parts of Hesse and Baden-Württemberg.

The programme splits up to fifteen times per hour to enable various regional contents such as news, weather, traffic, features and advertising to be broadcast per region. The music format comprises rock music from the 70s to today and rock-oriented pop (guitar-based pop). The relevant target group are listeners with a high education level and above average incomes. According to the latest media analysis*, the DSN is Germany’s most successful rock network.
