The Robert Schuman Foundation, established and given charitable status in 1991 after the fall of the Berlin Wall, works for European unity. As a recognized research institute, the foundation publishes studies of the European Union and its policies in France, Europe and other foreign countries. With well-founded scientific texts, publications and conferences, the foundation aims to stimulate and enrich the European debate. The foundation particularly supports young democracies that are still in development.
